Akari City completes launch of 90 per cent of condos in phase 1

HCM CITY — Nam Long Group, Hankyu Hanshin and Nishi Nippon Railroad launched on December 8 the last two blocks in phase 1 of the Akari City apartment project in HCM City. Thus, they have launched nearly 1,700 condominiums under Nam Long's Flora brand.

Situated right on Võ Văn Kiệt Boulevard on a rare prime piece of land left in the western area of Saigon, and with a diverse range of utilities befitting a modern township, Akari City is a bright spot in the city apartment market.

The project has a scale of 8.5ha and is divided into two stages. In phase 1, Akari City has more than 1,800 Flora affordable condominiums in standard, improved and limited dual-key versions.

Akari City is being jointly developed by Nam Long and Japanese partners Hankyu Hanshin and Nishi Nippon Railroad, which have strong financial capabilities, and are designed and constructed by prestigious names such as Beltcollins (landscape design), NQH Architects (architectural design) and Coteccons (general contractor).

The launch attracted 4,300 customers. It received special attention from foreign customers living and working in Việt Nam, mainly from Korea and Hong Kong, through Savills, CBRE and Huttons Vietnam.

Nguyễn Phạm Quỳnh Ngân, 32, of District 6, who chose an apartment successfully, said: “Because of the need for a bigger house for our second child, my husband and I carefully researched projects in Bình Tân District and considered many other factors to make a decision.

“We chose Akari City for its convenient location relative to our workplaces, its urban planning with a number of services and commercial facilities to serve our daily needs and the prestige of the companies collaborating with Nam Long in developing the project such as the Japanese investors and construction contractor Coteccons.
“Besides, the payment can be made in multiple installments with some time between each, giving us some breathing room so that we can arrange our finances."
