Nam Long Group (HOSE: NLG) announces new Chief Executive Officer appointment

March 4, 2024, Nam Long Investment Corporation announced the appointment of Mr. Lucas Ignatius Loh Jen Yuh as the Group’s Chief Executive Officer according to the newly-built organizational structure in alignment with Nam Long's growth strategy during the upcoming period.

The Chairman of Nam Long Group, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Quang, stated, “Nam Long highly appreciates the contributions of the former General Director, Mr. Tran Xuan Ngoc for his valuable contributions to the group during his term 2021-2023. Moving forward, Nam Long remains committed to following the growth strategy devised in collaboration with the world’s leading strategic consultant McKinsey, focusing not only on Residential Real Estate and Townships but also on expanding core business to ensure steady growth, including Commercial property development, capital mobilization, investment and asset management, investing in new ventures, and managing third-party investments. The Group hence requires strong competencies and leadership from experienced leaders in the fields where Nam Long is expanding. This not only supports the sustainable development of the Group but also serves the interests of shareholders, partners, and stakeholders. Mr. Lucas LOH was selected by the Board of Directors based on his suitability for the criteria set for this stage of development."

Mr. Lucas Ignatius Loh Jen Yuh will take on the position of Nam Long Group’s CEO

Before joining Nam Long Group, Mr. Lucas Ignatius Loh Jen Yuh had over 30 years of working experience within leading Organizations/Corporations in Asia such as the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), Temasek Holdings (a global investment group owned by the Singapore government), Hopson Development Holdings Limited, and CapitaLand Group. Notably, he spent 20 years in various leadership and senior management roles at CapitaLand, serving as Group Senior Vice President and CEO of The Ascott Group (a division of CapitaLand), Investment Director, CEO and Chairman of CapitaLand China.
